Rohit Mehta founded DoGood Funding to raise more money for organizations doing good work in their communities.
DoGood Funding is a capacity building company which sources and writes grant proposals, and offers training and consulting services for organizations of all sizes throughout Canada, including non-profits, for-profits and registered charities!
Rohit served as a volunteer jury member, appointed to the Grant Review Team of the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) and the Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF). After learning the ins and outs of grant review and how funders make decisions, Rohit was encouraged by peers to share his knowledge.
With the support of the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre, Rohit started DoGood Funding and leveraged his network of charity leaders and mentors to support local non-profits and charities. Since then, the company has worked with over 500 organizations across Canada, and services have expanded to include strategic planning, prospect research, professional development training and monthly fundraising support.
